Entitlement & Self Awareness

Shout out to the people that understand that no one owes them anything.

Somewhere down the line we took on this ugly mind set in which we feel entitled.

And not even the dope entitlement that Nas taught us about with the world being ours.

It’s the spoiled brat But-I-Want-It kind of entitlement.

The I-Didn’t-Want-It-Until-I-Saw-Yours sense of entitlement.

The That’s-Not-Fair-I-Am-Better-Than-Them kind of entitlement.

The Take-It-By-Any-Means-Necessary type of entitlement.

Rise and shine, my love. It is time to wake up.

This world and everything in it is built off of hard work and dedication to the cause.

Nothing good will equate from doing others wrong in order to get to this top that you aren’t even prepared for.

You still have research to do and experience to obtain.

Don’t lay back down. Stay woke because this applies to you!

Develop yourself.

Set goals based off of what YOU want and focus on those.

Learn your lane and stay in it.

Now, I don’t want you to get it mixed up. I believe that everyone should live their dreams. But there is a right way to experience such a monumental and gratifying accomplishment.

When you do things for wrong reasons, you emit so much bad energy that you can’t even feel real joy. There is a blockage that you can not remove until you start righting those wrongs. But you know…that would take admitting that you’re wrong and actually communicating your issues. Who REALLY wants to do that?

Self aware humans do.

Notice yourself with the good and bad that lives inside of you. Then work on that shit. No, really like actively work on that shit so you can do and be better…feel better.

Your dreams are not worth hurting good people. Your family. Friends. People who genuinely love you and want the best for you.

Are you still awake?
Good. Because you aren’t always right and I love you enough to not only tell you that, but to also help you get back right.
And if this doesn’t apply to you, it applies to someone you know.
Talk to them. Love them.
Because we all deserve a chance to get on the right track and to develop self awareness.
If nothing changes after you speak with them, uncovering their ways- it’s okay. You did the human thing to do and I’m so proud of you.
But it’s time to keep it moving.
Never stress over changing someone. Just offer the change as peacefully as you can.
Some are not ready. And that’s okay too.
