So I just did a product shoot and absolutely hated the edits. I redid the shoot the same day, literally not even an hour later. I loved the second shoot so much that I even put them in a folder titled “Better Shots” lmao!
I edited the new shots and sent them off to the client. They were NOT impressed. Not going to lie, my ego took a quick hit. But, I ended up sending them the first edits (that I didn’t feel good about) and sure enough, they LOVED them!
I’m relieved that I saved the first edits! Can you imagine if I deleted those because of how I FELT? Whew!
If you’re a creative, trust yourself! I’ll say it again…TRUST YOURSELF. Because, clients are going reach out to you for YOUR unique look and feel. Trust that they know what they want. And also…SAVE YOUR WORK (whether you like it or not).
