Honesty With Self

If you aren’t honest with yourself, you can’t fix it.

You won’t be able to heal.

You lose the ability to take control of your life and avoid creating vicious cycles.

No loved one, licensed professional, pastor, or guru will be able to assist you in doing better, getting better, being better if you don’t speak your truth first.

I know it’s hard.

We all have this little monster inside of us called Pride.

But life is about balance. We have to learn when to silence that monster and when to let it roam free.

Sit yourself down and get real. Face it. Embrace it so you can figure it all out.

We all have options. Now, whether we want to use those options, is a different story.

Humble yourself.

A good way to do this is to go outside tonight and look up at the stars (make sure it’s a good view).

Try counting them…I’m sure you’ll run out of patience. But that shows you that there is so much more out there than just you.

Go people watch at your local mall or look out at a busy street. Look at all of those people. They all have souls, lives, problems of their own. Then…there’s you. Life is going on currently. Don’t let it continue to pass you by.

The time will come and go. Don’t you want to change? In 3 months, don’t you want to see results instead of being the same and still complaining about the same issues? Get a step further.
