Victim Blaming and Responsibility

There is a fine line between holding yourself responsible and victim-blaming yourself.

You have a responsibility to yourself to protect yourself at all times.

Protect your energy, your body, your emotions, and  what you’ve worked hard to create.

When people come in and violate, there has been a breach in the system.

That’s okay. Tighten up security without closing yourself off.

Sometimes, people are just projecting their internal issues onto you and the connection they have with you.

They show their destructive behavior at some point in your interaction.

At that point, it is no one’s responsibility but yours to acknowledge that behavior, state your boundary, and explain the consequences of that boundary being crossed again.
