Did you have any (REAL) (FRESH) fruits and veggies today? Your body is the machine that allows you to get up and go do whatever you do so, we must remember to feed it the nutrients that better assist it in…ya know…keeping us alive.
I enjoy juices and smoothies, stirfrys, and plain old fresh fruit and veggie chunks. I make my own smoothies but they never turn out quite like Denise’s at Humanitree House.
In Augusta, she co-owns a vegan juice bar and art gallery with her husband, Baruti (the extremely talented artist who hand painted the beautiful mural in the background of the photo). It’s seriously the best place ever. So if you’re ever in the area, I recommend that you stop by.
I think we all have to be conscious of what we’re putting in our bodies. Most “food” on the shelves aren’t even fit for human consumption due to the astonishing amounts of chemicals found in them.
I’m personally on a journey to eating less “food” made in a factory. I want to remain full of life and energy! So, I must put more “live” foods in my body. Green juice, beet juice, fresh kale, berries, nuts (lmao-I’m immature), less dairy (because I’m not a baby calf), and more WATER!
