I made the choice to become an entrepreneur after starting over with my life. I knew what my passion was but I had no clue as to how to get started. I was blessed to have most of it spelled out for me. However, I’m still learning…a lot of shit.
People romanticize entrepreneurship, but truthfully, it’s an immense amount of work.
Take it from a grade A procrastinator, you have to get your shit together if you want to successfully run your business.
Just today, I had a tough-love talk with myself about my finances and how to get a grip on them. It’s not like we were taught this stuff in high school or anything…
Thank god for YouTube and for my close circle of fellow entrepreneurs or I would be even more lost than I am today.
Find a mentor that is willing to take you under their wing in your industry.
Stick closely by their side.
Write everything down.
Really invest in your business because it is now your livelihood.
As this is a message to you, it is also to myself.
Get out of the matrix, man. Put in those hours for yourself. But be smart about it. It’s a real commitment. I believe in you!
We’ve got this!
