I ventured into Tennessee again recently.
This time I experienced Laurel Falls.
HOLY shit was it magnificent. I was able to climb some rocks near the falls and meditate.
I took a few deep breaths to fill my lungs with the pure air. I wanted to be one with the earth.
I closed my eyes and was able to hear my blood rushing like the current of the water.
I felt powerful.
I felt like the water falling into the rocks, molding them…not letting them get in its way.
I stand tall -5’3-ish but-TALL in the sense of my spirit.
My soul is major, being older than the vessel it fills.
As I sat on that rock, I felt full.
Yet, I felt as light as a feather.
My mind was finally clear as I opened my eyes and said “Thank you,” to mother earth for giving us something so…beautiful to remind us of the things that we forget to be thankful for each day.
Reflect in nature when possible. Forget about time. Just take a moment to show gratitude
