Moving Figures

That must feel amazing- being those two souls in the midst of multitudes of people who seem to block it all out.

Blocking out all of the noise…the many lives, agendas, and journeys that pass them by.

They stop amidst the chaos. Locking eyes, they make time in all of its tenses stand still.

Perhaps it isn’t still at all. Perhaps time is moving so hastily that it all seems silent.

I crave to feel that.

You can take me away to that place of blissful anxiety.

You can bring me peace all while having my heart racing against a speeding bullet.

Your touch-Knowing that you had to feel me in this exact moment…weakens my knees.

Feeling the effects of your mind shouting for you to make a move. Knowing that you didn’t protest.

Even if you tried to hold back, that makes this moment twice as enticing because your try for self-control failed for me.

You have my permission to pull me into an empty aisle, a secluded staircase..who am I kidding? ..You have my permission to pull me into you at any moment.

Realize what message you convey as you extinguish this fire that you have ignited.

Your actions show me that you couldn’t resist.

This makes me feel like the siren I believe to have been lifetimes ago.

Take me anytime, anywhere.

Take me when I’m least expecting it.

Shut me up mid-sentence just to steal a kiss.

Forget everything else surrounding us because in this moment, you had to taste my kiss.

Maybe in this moment, you had to run your hand up my thigh which has been provoking you all day.

Perhaps in this moment you needed to pull my hair, bite my neck and just leave it at that.

I’m yours for the taking.

Watch how you throw me off of my game.

Observe how your actions can have the power to send me on the highest of highs.

Let those figures move around us while we carelessly escape.
